Watch it sell on WhatsApp. Fifteen real moments, one number.

01RestaurantAdwoa's Kitchen, Accra
The midnight order. Nobody had to wake up for it.
23:48. Kitchen closed, owner asleep. Mokasa takes the order and the payment, and it is waiting at 8am.
What Mokasa is doing
- Offers a pre-order instead of a dead end, using the shop’s opening hours.
- Sends the menu as a carousel. Names and prices come from the catalogue.
- Reads “make am 2” as a quantity and keeps a running basket in the chat.
- Opens a checkout Flow where the zone sets the fee. Paystack’s webhook, not the AI, marks it paid.
WhatsApp features used
The address stays free text. “Near the junction, blue gate” is a real Ghanaian address.
02FashionKente & Co, Osu
Manual MoMo. A person confirms it, never the AI.
No payment processor yet, just a MoMo number. Mokasa still runs the sale, and a screenshot is never treated as money.
What Mokasa is doing
- Shares the shop’s MoMo number with a unique reference, MK-2207.
- Gets the screenshot and says the team will confirm. It never says received.
- Puts the proof in the dashboard queue, next to the order and the amount.
- Sends the confirmation only after staff tap Confirm payment.
WhatsApp features used
Why a person? Screenshots can be edited or reused. Only the shop’s own wallet is proof.

Cash on delivery, decided by zone.
Same shop, same speaker, two customers. Accra can pay the rider. Kumasi pays first, because the parcel travels by bus.
What Mokasa is doing
- Asks where before promising anything about payment.
- Matches free text to a zone the owner set up.
- Offers only what that zone allows, with its fee and timing.
- Explains the no in one line and shows the full total first.

Zone rules set by the owner
| Zone | Fee | Arrives | Payment |
|---|---|---|---|
| Accra | GH₵25 | Same day | Cash on delivery |
| Kumasi | GH₵45 | Next day | Pay first |
04GiftsBloom & Bow, Airport Residential
The undecided shopper. Two taps to three good options.
“I don’t know what to get” is where chats die. Mokasa asks two questions, then shows three picks, not the whole shop.
What Mokasa is doing
- Asks who it is for and the budget. One tap each.
- Filters the catalogue by tag and price, then picks three.
- Answers product questions from the owner’s notes on that item.
- If the notes do not say, it checks with the team. It never guesses.

05SalonGlow Studio Osu
Booked at 9pm. Deposit paid, reminder sent.
Service, day, time, deposit. Only free slots are offered, and the deposit stops no-shows.
What Mokasa is doing
- Sends services as a list. Price and duration come from settings.
- Opens a Flow with only free slots, worked out from hours and bookings.
- Holds the slot for 15 minutes while the deposit link is open.
- Reminds the day before, with Reschedule one tap away.
WhatsApp features used
The reminder falls outside WhatsApp’s 24 hour window, so it goes as an approved template.
06Event decorAdorn Events, Accra
Quote mode. The brief from the AI, the price from you.
Decor and catering have no price list. Mokasa gathers the brief, a person sets the price, and Mokasa sends it with a deposit link.
What Mokasa is doing
- Asks only what the business needs for a quote.
- Reads the brief back so nothing gets lost.
- Asked “roughly how much?”, it declines to guess.
- Staff price it in the dashboard. Mokasa delivers the quote.

The rules it never breaks
Three things Mokasa will not do. Not even at midnight.
Invent a price.
Every price comes from your catalogue or from a person on your team. Asked for a guess, it says no.
Confirm a manual payment.
A screenshot is not money. Your team checks the wallet and taps Confirm. Only then does the customer hear yes.
Argue with an upset customer.
Complaints, refunds and anything it is unsure about go to a person, on the same number.
07GroceriesFresh Basket Market, Dzorwulu
Reorder in two taps. Today’s prices, saved address.
Regulars should not shop from scratch. A greeting is enough to offer the last basket again.
What Mokasa is doing
- Knows the customer by number and loads the last order.
- Rebuilds the basket at today’s catalogue prices and says what changed.
- Sends a MoMo prompt to the saved number through Paystack.
- Confirms when the payment webhook arrives.

A voice note in pidgin. Read back before anyone pays.
Many customers would rather talk than type. Mokasa transcribes, builds the basket and confirms it in text.
What Mokasa is doing
- Transcribes pidgin and mixed speech. The transcript stays on the order.
- Matches jollof with turkey and Chapman to catalogue items and prices.
- Reads it all back and waits for a yes. It never charges on a guess.
- Uses the shop’s own currency, naira here: ₦12,500 all in.

Knowing when to hand over. A person, on the same number.
An upset customer needs a person. Mokasa apologises once, says who is coming, and steps aside.
What Mokasa is doing
- Spots a complaint. Refunds and goodwill are a human call.
- Names who is taking over, flags the chat and alerts staff.
- Goes quiet the moment Ama replies from her phone.
- Remembers the promise. Free delivery lands on the next order.
WhatsApp features used
Ama replies in the WhatsApp Business app. With coexistence, the app and Mokasa share one number.
10For the ownerMokasa to Adwoa
The 7am summary. One message with what needs you.
Owners live in WhatsApp too. Each morning, one message: what sold, what got paid, what needs a person.
What Mokasa is doing
- Counts paid orders only. Unconfirmed MoMo is listed apart.
- Shows the sales made while the shop was closed.
- Lists chats that need a person, one line each.
- Flags payments to confirm, with the oldest wait time.
WhatsApp features used
1. Kofi D. wants catering for 150 people on 7 Nov. Nobody has replied yet.
2. Efua A. complained about a cold delivery. Ama replied, waiting on the customer.
11StorefrontAdwoa's Kitchen and Glow Studio Osu
From the store page straight into the chat.
The customer builds a basket on the store page and taps Order on WhatsApp. The message arrives written, with an order code.
What Mokasa is doing
- Reads the code K7Q2M and loads that exact basket.
- Re-checks every price and stock level before quoting a total.
- Asks only what is missing, usually where to deliver.
- Salons get Book on WhatsApp, straight to free times.
WhatsApp features used
The code is only a pointer. If it is missing, the AI reads the item lines and confirms the basket.
2x Jollof Rice & Chicken
1x Sobolo (1L)
Order code: K7Q2M

12Pre-orderKente & Co and Sweet Crumbs Bakery
Pre-orders, said plainly.
Not on the shelf yet? Mokasa says so before asking for money, then sends the balance link when the stock lands.
What Mokasa is doing
- Says pre-order and the ship date in the first reply.
- Takes a 50% deposit. Balance and delivery come on arrival.
- The owner taps Mark arrived. Each customer gets their own balance link.
- Bakeries run weekly batches. Late orders move to the next one, with the date.
WhatsApp features used
13Day specialsAdwoa's Kitchen, Accra
Jollof days. Missed Tuesday? Friday is offered, with plates left.
Jollof is made on Tuesdays and Fridays, ordered by 5pm the day before. The customer asks on Tuesday morning. Mokasa says why it is too late and books Friday.
What Mokasa is doing
- Reads the ready days and the order-by rule from the product. It never guesses a date.
- Says why today is closed, then offers the next two ready days with plates left.
- Holds 3 of Friday's 40 plates while the payment link is open.
- The order carries its ready date, so the kitchen sees it under Friday.
WhatsApp features used
A date the rules did not produce is blocked before it is sent. No guessed dates.
14Sizes and coloursKente & Co, Kumasi
Which size? Only the missing choice, only what is in stock.
The customer names the product but not the colour or size. Mokasa asks one thing at a time, with a list, and never offers a colour that is sold out.
What Mokasa is doing
- Knows the smock top has two options: size and colour. Asks only for what is missing.
- Lists sizes with the price and stock of each mix. XL costs more, so it says so.
- Indigo is sold out in every size, so it is never offered. Asked directly, it says so plainly.
- The basket line stores the exact mix, M · Black, with its own stock code.
WhatsApp features used
Stock for each mix can come from Mokasa, a Google Sheet, Shopify, WooCommerce or Loyverse.
15BranchesGlow Studio, Osu and East Legon
Which branch? One number, two studios, the right stylist.
Both studios share one WhatsApp number. Mokasa asks which is closer, then books a stylist who works at that branch.
What Mokasa is doing
- The owner turned on "ask which branch is closest". The customer can switch at any time.
- Picks Osu, so only Osu services and Osu stylists are offered.
- Free times come from Akua's working hours, the 4 hours braids take and 15 minutes to get ready.
- The booking carries the branch, so it lands on the Osu calendar and alerts the Osu team.
WhatsApp features used
A business with a number per branch skips the question: the number they message decides the branch.
